Book Garry Cullum

ADHD, Childhood Trauma & Neurodiversity Speaker, Mental Health Advocate

Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, Garry’s journey has been shaped by early struggles with dyslexia, emotional isolation, and behavioural challenges that often left him misunderstood in school and beyond.

Now, with clarity and purpose, Garry shares his story to help others feel seen, heard, and empowered. His talks explore the realities of living with neurodivergence from school, relationships and workplace challenges to personal growth and offer practical insights into resilience, self-awareness, and thriving with ADHD.

Garry’s mission is simple, to show that no matter what you’ve been through or what you’re going through there’s always a way forward. Whether speaking to students, professionals, or mental health communities, Garry brings authenticity, vulnerability, and hope to every conversation.

Topics Garry Covers:

  • ADHD & Emotional Regulation
  • Mental Health: Overcoming anxiety, depression, and isolation
  • Workplace Inclusion: Supporting neurodivergent employees
  • Personal Growth: Finding purpose through adversity
  • Childhood Trauma: How to heal from within

We were delighted to welcome Garry Cullum as a guest speaker at our Meeting Places group within Hertfordshire Mind, and his session on ADHD was truly outstanding. Garry delivered an inspirational and deeply engaging talk, drawing on his own lived experiences to bring authenticity, insight, and real understanding to the topic.

Our clients responded extremely positively, with many sharing how much they valued his honesty, relatability, and practical perspective. Garry created a safe and open environment where people felt comfortable reflecting, asking questions, and connecting with the subject in a meaningful way.

His ability to combine personal experience with knowledge and compassion made a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. We are incredibly grateful for his contribution and would highly recommend him as a speaker who can both educate and inspire.
